I've found ebay to have some parts avail but I'm looking for a new knife trimmer for my TMEX-C1501
I know the part number is #EC0A02010000 but I'm finding the prices to be all over the map from $15 to $50....
Any recommendations here ?
Thanks.

Re: How many heads do I need to get started?
I was advised the exact same thing that getting a 2 head machine is a waste . I can see how since there can be more crap to go out to make you all the way out of the water to having a backup if one is screwing up. Slower but you still have to load the hoop!

Their website still seems to be active and in Taiwan.

Not a very large website. Someone is paying for their hosting and domain bill at least.

Re: Fix Broken Needle with 311 Error
Looks like on other searches the belt can be the culprit, but I agree to check to make sure there aren't any bits of metal from a broken needle still lodged somewhere. I've also been told that the machines are designed to have some common parts like the hook snap before you do mega damage on the ins...

Fix Broken Needle with 311 Error

It will do a trim when its apart without a needle on it but when i put a needle on it jams. Is my timing off? Could be, or a s...

Tips from Bob K on Nylon
Don't know the nylon you will be embroidering on or the design but generally speaking the biggest challenge in stitching nylon [in particular light nylon] will be to reduce/eliminate puckering. So with that in mind ..... - use a cut-away stabilizer - reduce the number of stitches as much as possible...

Getting rid of needle marks in nylon
Hi all. Working on embroidering some bags that are a heavy duty nylon. Realized that I used an old design (embroidery and applique) and needed to do it smaller (of course ugh). I consider myself practically a master with the Peggy's Stitch Eraser but it being nylon punctures the holes. Has anyone ha...

Digitizing yourself or having a contractor do it?
Is it worth teaching yourself how to digitize when there are so many low cost companies out there that will do it for you in the format you need? What are your thoughts on this? Is it still good practice to learn how to do it yourself , in the event you need to fix something on the fly when under a ...

Needles for Hats
Best needle for structured caps is the size 80/12 sharp. Many times needle breaks at the beginning of a design can be eliminated with proper digitizing. A special starting sequence of well-placed running stitches to pull the cap down. You can also try using a cap press to help “relax” the front of t...

How many heads do I need to get started?
I've had some techs tell me that the 2 head machines are a waste of money.
I've been told that its better two have 2 single head machines or go ahead and move into a 4 or 6 head.
What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Re: Sound Dampening - Neighbors complaining about how loud our machines are
Consider searching ebay for sound booth foam or sound dampening auto mobile material like dynomat.
You could mount this on the walls that are closest to the machine. You may have to go as far as building a cubical style box around your equipment to get it to knock the noise level down.
